About St John's Mickleover

Whether you have been a Christian a long time, or you are just seeking to find out more about the Christian faith and what it means to follow Jesus Christ, we trust you will find a warm welcome here at St. John’s.

First and foremost, our purpose is to worship Jesus Christ and make him known. We do that through our worship on Sundays. As human beings we are all different, so we offer a variety of worship opportunities. All our services have a time for fellowship and chat afterwards, often with refreshments.

During the week we have an Internet Café where you can call in for help, advice and instruction for any computer (iPad, tablet etc.) related issues or join us at Café Link on Monday and Friday afternoons for tea/coffee and a chat. Our Friendship Group (for over 60s) meet in the Community Link on a Wednesday afternoon. Tots and parents/carers meet on Friday’s at 1.30pm in term time for activities, worship, play and refreshments. We also have several House Groups, an informal Choir, Book Club, and occasional craft, social and fund raising events.

Mickleover 'Churches Together'

We are in an 'Ecumenical Covenant' with the other Churches in Mickleover:
  • All Saints (Anglican)

  • Our Lady of Lourdes (Catholic)

St John's and All Saints often join together as partners in mission and are collectively known as Mickleover Anglicans (MA).
