Main Service: Sunday 10am
St. John's is a friendly, modern Church of England Parish Church, centrally located in Mickleover on the corner of Devonshire Drive and Darwin Road.
Our main service is on a Sunday at 10am and we also offer an 8am said communion and various afternoon/evening services. Children are always very welcome at St John's. Details of our services are available on the Services page and Events Calendar. The Church is open most days offering a place for prayer and reflection during the week.
In this year's environmental Lent activity, we will be looking at the "Six Days Of Creation" and what, according to the account in Genesis 1, was created on each of those days. Each week we will have an environmentally-based fact and prayer for the things created on each 'Day'.
The idea is to look at one 'Day' in each week of Lent, taking time to read the fact and prayer and then to prayerfully reflect on what more we can do to reduce our impact on our planet. See below for this week's featured fact, or download the full list here.
