St. John's is a friendly, modern Church of England Parish Church, centrally located in Mickleover on the corner of Devonshire Drive and Darwin Road.

Latest News

Following updated guidance, St John's will begin Said Communion Services within the Church on Sundays at 4.30pm. These services begin on Sunday 5th July and will feature no hymns, wafer-only Communion and seating which complies with social distancing guidelines.

Whilst face-to-face services can resume, we will also be maintaining our 'Zoom' service each Sunday at 10am. Please check out our Services page for times and details of how to connect online using a computer, or dial in with a standard phone.

In addition, the Church will be open for 2 hours, each Wednesday for private prayer. Further information on the time slots can be found on this page.

Bookings for Church Hall & Community Link

Our Church Hall and Community Link are used on a regular basis by a selction of Community and Church groups.

Both facilities are available for private hire when not in use by regular users. For more details, please see the hall bookings page and to make an enquiry, please contact our Bookings Administrator on (Derby) 515293 or send an email.
